The tanning kit has all
you need except the salt. The kit will tan an average
size deer hide. A deer hide has about 10 square feet. So
if you want to tan an elk or moose you will need to
figure out how many square feet are in the hide. So 3
kits will tan a hide about 30 square feet. I have seen
moose hide as big as 42 square feet. You would need 4
kits to do one that big.
